23-25 December 2016
As a way to treat ourselves for the winter holidays we visited Amsterdam. The city of endless canals, side by side buildings with the typical architecture, many slanted houses, hundreds and thousands of bicycles, narrow passages, noisy evenings and supposedly the city of tulips.
Each of the canals and the passages was similar to the previous one, but at the same time had something special and was different.
Many of the buildings were slanted… for real.
We also visited Anne Frank House, where Anne lived and wrote her diary. It gave us all sorts of emotions. Unfolding before us the tough episodes of the history during world war through the eyes of a young girl. And at the same time displaying the force and potential that Anne possessed and passed to us through her diary.
More about Amsterdam…
Planets, space and a hot drink to end our trip.
